Q:is it okay to mix smashbox bb cream and smashbox photo finish luminizing foundation primer ?

You could use the primer before the BB cream if you’d like. I’ve read that a lot of BB creams can actually be used as a primer themselves.
I really don’t think you’d need to mix them though.

I do not wear BB creams. For me, having a good skin care regimen is what keeps my skin healthy. If there are days where I wanna take it easy on makeup, I just don’t wear any makeup and give my skin a breather.
I’m not saying BB creams won’t be great for you, so if they are something you’re interested in, definitely investigate :]
I know that both scienceofchic and drugstore princess have tried out BB creams, so they might be able to help you out if you had specific questions around certain ones. Makeupfortheweak also just put a post on Beauty VIPs stating that she just got three drugstore BB creams. So she might be a huge help as well.

Q:What kind of brush would be good for BB Cream? Particularly the Dr Jart bb cream in the brown bottle.
I would apply it with clean hands. I really don’t think you need a brush to apply bb creams.
If you want to though, just use whatever brush you’d use to apply foundation and make sure that it is synthetic, since natural hair brushes aren’t great for apply creamy products to the face.
