Q:hey, do you recommend any lip primers to use with a matte lipstick? thanks :)
I really like Prep + Prime Lip, by MAC.
What I do, especially when I’m applying a matte lipstick is:
Apply a chapstick/lip balm and let that soak into my lips (So I’ll apply it before I do my eye makeup or something to give it some time to soak in)
Then when it’s time to apply my lipstick, I put on my Prep + Prime Lip
Then I apply my lipstick with a lip brush. I think this helps to really push the color into your lips and you can get a much more precise application.
